Become a citizen scientist…participate in the WV Save Our Streams Workshop.

The WVU Society of Environmental Professionals (SEP) will be hosting its 2nd annual “Save Our Streams” workshop and certification program on Saturday, September 19th. The Save Our Streams program is designed to give citizens the knowledge needed to monitor and make general health assessments of the streams and rivers in their community. Certification is obtained after completion of the workshop. The workshop is lead by a representative from the WV Department of Environmental Protection. All participants are to meet at the South Agricultural Sciences Building, Room 1030, on the WVU Evansdale Campus. After lunch, participants will be traveling to White Park Stream for additional hands-on instruction. The workshop will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m.  This workshop is free and open to the public.
